The last day of February. How sad this day must be to those born on a leap year. Sure, they try to play it off as being "awesome" or "special" or (and I love this one) "unique", but we all know the truth. They aren't, they are just poor souls that only get to have a real birthday every 4th year. I pity them. Why does it have to be this way. Why is February a shorter month anyway? Why can't we give them January 31st, or March 31st on the years of no leaping? These people deserve a birthday. They shouldn't have to pretend to be something they are not.

My brother's wife has this unfortunate birthday, we figure she is really 8, not in her early 30s according to the calendar. Very dumb indeed. What is the point?
